Responsibilities:
- Monitor and optimize the recovery of Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) throughout the value chain
- Conduct metallurgical accounting and reconciliation of PGM production
- Analyze plant performance data to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Provide technical support on flotation, smelting, and refining processes
- Ensure compliance with environmental and quality standards specific to PGM operations
- Work closely with production, geology, and mineral processing teams to maximize PGM yield
- Assist in test work and trials to evaluate new technologies or reagents
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize PGM losses in tailings and waste streams
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree in Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering
- 8 years' experience in PGM Flotation Plants
- Experience of Metallurgy Production processes and flows, Metallurgy Processes, and PGM separation processes.
- Valid Driver's License
