Description:

  • Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Maintain and update general ledger and financial records
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist in budget planning and financial forecasting
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with tax laws
  • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits
  • Monitor financial transactions and report discrepancies
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and industry regulations

Requirements:

  • Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Maintain and update general ledger and financial records
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist in budget planning and financial forecasting
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable

  • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits
  • Monitor financial transactions and report discrepancies
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and industry regulations
  • Financial degree or diploma
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in Sage accounting software is essential.
  • Proficiency in PaySpace is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. For example, payroll processing, VAT returns and tax submissions, Workers’ Compensation Administration (WCA) compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel .
  • Financial degree or diploma
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in Sage accounting software is essential.
  • Proficiency in PaySpace is beneficial.
