Our client, a well-established manufacturer and installer of custom aluminium and glass glazing solutions for the residential, commercial, and retail markets, is looking for a hands-on Financial Manager to take full ownership of the finance function. With over a decade of experience and a strong reputation in delivering high-quality, non-standard aluminium products – from frameless stacking doors and skylights to automated shopfronts – they continue to grow and serve top developers, contractors, and private clients across the Western Cape. Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Reporting
- Manage the full finance function, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and supplier payments.
- Handle creditors and debtors, ensuring accurate records and timely transactions.
- Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, and all other statutory returns via SARS eFiling.
- Manage all SARS correspondence and ensure compliance with tax legislation.
- Produce monthly management accounts, assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
- Coordinate with external auditors and prepare for year-end audits.
- Ensure compliance and submissions to the Building Industry Bargaining Council (BIBC).
- Maintain and improve financial systems, controls, and processes.
- Support senior management with financial reporting and strategic input.
- Process fortnightly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle staff contracts, onboarding documentation, and personnel file management.
- Assist with disciplinary processes, including attending to arbitrations, hearings, and CCMA matters.
- Support HR-related compliance in line with labour regulations and bargaining council requirements.
- Proven experience in a full-function finance role, ideally in a construction, manufacturing, or project-based environment.
- Experience handling HR admin and labour-related matters is essential.
- Sound knowledge of SARS e-Filing, statutory compliance, and BIBC regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Pastel.
- Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
