KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:24hr Fleet monitoring and tracking 24hr Truck Assist monitoring of convoy vehicles enroute Monitor violations (speeding; stop; crash alerts, supply failure, driving event) Monitor all driver tracking devices from the time of despatch to delivery ensuring they are
on and in use Report driving violations to despatching depot Phone driver for violations, followed by SMS Monitor for possible hijacking Ensure drivers remain in convoy and follow correct route Technical monitoring of tracker (plugged in, battery life/status) Checking that drivers deliver at correct destination Ensure compliance to National Road Traffic act and the Clients convoy rules Providing information to relevant parties concerning surveillance and tracking Provide tracking reports daily On site camera surveillance monitoring Basic Admin and adherence to disciplinary code Daily stock control of the linen supplied to the drivers Ensure all misconduct with any driver or pilot driver is reported to management immediately Housekeeping Ensure all vehicles in transit are off the road between 22h00 and 04h00 Continuous liaison with Call Center.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Computer Literacy Good geographical knowledge of SA & the BLNS countries Trustworthy Honesty Responsible Excellent Report Writing Skills Good Communication skills Previous Control Room experience is an advantage Must be able to work shifts Attention to detail Excellence orientated Passionate Clerical Time management and ability to prioritise tasks Logical Self-starter and taking the initiative Must have own reliable transport and valid Drivers License
