Our client, a manufacturer dedicated to producing high-quality products for especially Outdoor enthusiasts, etc. This vacancy requires a skilled and experienced Individual to assist the Production Manager overseeing manufacturing operations and ensure efficient and timely production.
Job Summary: To support the Production Manager in coordinating and overseeing daily operations in both printing and sewing departments. The role ensures smooth workflow, adherence to quality standards, and timely job completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Production Manager coordinate the activities of sewing operators including planning and organizing production schedules Plan and schedule production orders to meet deadlines and production targets. Ensure all production processes adhere to quality standards and specifications. Train new employees on sewing techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as required. Collaborate with other departments, such as design and quality control, to ensure seamless production processes. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff. Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review. Supervise and support machine operators and production staff. Track production KPIs and report deviations or issues to the Production Manager. Help implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste. Monitor and oversee the day-to-day operations of both printing and sewing floors. Supervise and support sewing machine operators, cutters, and packers in addition to print staff.Qualifications:
Qualification in a related field or equivalent work experience Proven experience as a Production/Sewing Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of sewing and printing techniques, machinery, and equipment. Proficiency in MS Office
