Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements specific to the insurance industry.
- Ensure compliance with FSCA, SARS, and other relevant governing bodies through accurate financial submissions and reporting.
- Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, and claims departments to support finance operations and deliver meaningful insights.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support business strategy and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve financial control systems.
Requirements:
- BCom Accounting or related degree
- SAICA/SAIPA articles completed
- 2+ years post-article experience in the insurance or financial services industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SAM, FSCA reporting)
Location: Centurion (hybrid options may be considered)
