Are you a creative professional with experience in video and photo editing, as well as managing WordPress websites? Our client, based in Paarden Eiland, is a well-established and fast-growing lifestyle brand. They are seeking a collaborative and results-driven Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to develop and implement their social media strategy, create and manage a content calendar, and work closely with the Marketing team to achieve key objectives across multiple social media platforms. Basic WordPress proficiency is essential, as the role includes coding and updating elements of the website’s navigation. REQUIREMENTS- Matric, and relevant qualification advantageous
- 3-4 years’ experience with social media marketing or content development
- Experience with Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, Premier Pro or equivalent digital media editing tools is a plus
- Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
- Proficiency in video and photo editing
- Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
- Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
DUTIES
- Execute a results-driven social media strategy
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content
- Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels
- Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
- Ability to build, maintain, update, and redesign the company’s existing and new websites and platforms i.e.
- Designing buttons and other controls for the site
- Creating mock-ups of the site for the client’s approval
- Fix functionality issues, including removal of “dead links”
- Updating and maintaining the site
- Making backup files of the site
Salary : Basic: R20,000 - R25,000 CTC dependent on experience plus provident fund. Company incentive based on company performance.
