Description:
- Tax Preparation and Filing Returns:
- Prepare and file provisional and final tax returns for individuals on e-filing within deadline
- Review clients’ financial documents (e.g., income statements, balance sheets, etc.) to ensure proper tax filing and deduction claims.
- Prepare and file VAT and EMP returns on e-filing
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations by staying updated on any changes to tax legislation.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing personalised tax services.
- Offer ongoing support to clients by responding to their inquiries and addressing any tax-related concerns.
- Accounting Duties:
- Process payroll, ensuring accurate records and timely payments.
- Assisting with day-to-day accounting functions such as invoicing and petty cash.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with preparation of monthly management reports.
- Record financial transactions in accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Compliance Duties & Business Administration:
- Assist in maintaining and developing compliance-related documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for regulatory bodies and ensure timely submissions to government agencies.
- Keeping competence register plan and regulatory risk registers up to date.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation.
- General Administration & Support to senior management:
- Support senior management with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
- Help with ad-hoc projects or tasks within the accounting or finance department.
- Willing to help with duties at reception when required.
