Product Owner

DEPARTMENT: Information Technology (IT)
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The role requires a highly strategic Product Owner to join the Head of Business Applications’ leadership team. This role is central to the successful delivery of a multi-year, cost-intensive ERP transformation project, which involves the phased implementation of a newly built ERP system while decoupling an existing legacy platform.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
On-time delivery of project phases and ERP milestones
Stakeholder satisfaction and engagement scores
Alignment of product outcomes with business value expectations
Reduction in dependency on legacy systems (measured via functionality cutover)
Quality and completeness of product backlog and documentation
Successful user acceptance rates per phase
Accuracy and impact of board-level reporting and risk visibility

Requirements:

MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
8+ years of experience in a Product Owner or Product Management role.
Proven success in large-scale ERP or enterprise system implementations.
Strong technical background with a solid understanding of system architecture, integration, and data migration challenges.
Deep experience working in cross-functional leadership teams with exposure to SDLC, testing, project and change management.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at board level.
Experience in managing products within high-stakes, time-sensitive environments.
