Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Canteen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our staff canteen. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing cafeterias or canteens, with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of canteen operations, including staff supervision, stock control, and customer service.

Place and manage orders for stock and supplies, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.

Lead, train, and manage kitchen and service staff, ensuring optimal performance and team morale.

Enforce and maintain strict health, hygiene, and food safety standards in accordance with regulations.

Maintain accurate records related to food safety, stock levels, staff rosters, and daily sales.

Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure high standards are consistently met.

Work closely with management to improve canteen services, customer satisfaction, and cost controls.
Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role managing a canteen or cafeteria.

In-depth knowledge of health and safety and food safety regulations.

Strong organisational and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Must have reliable transport.

Relevant hospitality or food service qualifications will be advantageous.
