Description:
The Accountant will join a collaborative and close-knit team and will work closely with the Head Accountant and CFO.
The role will involve:
- Maintain fixed asset register, new builds, revamps & scrapping
- Process & reconcile cashbook & petty cash
- Bookkeeping up to trial balance
- Management Accounts – preparation, corroboration & follow up
- Daily bank deposits reconciliation and follow-up, cash tracking
- Assist with coordination and planning of the annual budget process
- Maintenance of beneficiaries list on banking system
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
- Completed Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2 years Bookkeeping experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An analytical thinker who pays meticulous attention to detail
- Strong experience with various accounting software packages
- Full proficiency in MS Office & Advanced Excel skills
- Valid driver’s license & own vehicle
