We are looking for a Voice Engineer in the Unified Communications Business Unit that will be responsible for implementing and maintaining voice communication systems and infrastructure. This role requires technical expertise in VoIP technologies, collaboration platforms, and network infrastructure to ensure seamless communication across our customer landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage customer voice and unified communications environments.
- Integrate 3rd party platforms such as call recording solutions or telephone management systems.
- Troubleshoot complex voice and network-related issues across platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Manage escalations and provide technical solutions for voice communication challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate voice solutions with existing IT infrastructure.
- Present solutions in a clear and concise manner to customers.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical expertise in unified communications and voice technologies
- Proficiency in VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, network routing, and QoS implementation
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone environments
- Relevant certifications in enterprise communication platforms
- Background in implementing enterprise-wide communication solutions
- Knowledge of security best practices for voice communication systems
- *Bonus* Experience or Certification in deploying any of the following: Cisco, Oracle, Mitel, Avaya, 3CX, Yeastar, Asterisk.
