VKB Milling (Pty) Ltd is one of four subsidiaries of VKB Agri Processors (Pty) Ltd, the agri-processing division of the VKB Group. VKB Milling (Pty) Ltd operates white maize mills in Mokopane and Louis Trichardt in Limpopo, and Mashishing in Mpumalanga, a wheat mill in Frankfort in the Free State as well as a maize mill in Christiana and a Wheat Mill in Modderrivier in the Northern Cape.

The Divisional Manager, will be responsible tolead a team of people to achieve the company and brand strategies to meet the overall set objectives

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 5-8 years Sales & Key Account Management
  • Sales Operations Management - Staff, Agents (From store level to Management level)
  • Channel/Customer management in Retail, Wholesale, Distributors, Food Service, Bakeries & Bulk ingredients
  • Co-ad budget management
  • Sales budget planning & execution


Job description

  • Compiling, controlling and measuring the Division's sales and the marketing budget (including the product promotion and sales plan) on a monthly basis within agreed mandates per signed customer plans
  • Monitor and review progress and take corrective/innovative action for the achievement of targets
  • Communicating sales and marketing information to internal, external customers as well suppliers (where applicable) on a continuous basis
  • Controlling, implementing and evaluating returns and damages on a monthly basis
  • Ensure the retention and expansion of market share
  • To ensure that reputable business is attained and limit any financial risk on our debtors book
  • To report any knowledge gained about the change of a financial position within an organization that we do business with either positive or negative
  • Perform sales administration

  • Levels of engagement: Ability to engage with all departments and levels of management
  • Values driven – Humble, Hungry, Bold, Smart, Team player!
  • Ability to work under pressure – deadlines
  • Analytical ability (Trends, insights & recommendation)
  • Systems knowledge (Microsoft NAV & related systems)
  • Microsoft – Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
