Duties:

• Bookkeeping (Full Function)
• Processing tax invoices for suppliers and customers
• Processing and reconciling cashbooks (bank recons)
• Reconciling to supplier and customer statements
• SARS E-Filing
• VAT reconciliation and returns
• Compile Annual Financial Statement on CaseWare
• Assist with VAT reviews on SARS
• Processing of journals and process up to a final trial balance

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary education preferred
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in an auditors /accounting firm
• Must be proficient in accounting software (Pastel Partner, Sage One, CaseWare)
• Must be able to compile Annual Financial Statement on CaseWare
• Must be fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have contactable references
• No criminal record (checks will be done)
