Optimi has an opportunity for someone creative with a fantastic design background to join the team as a Graphic Designer. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and have exceptional time-management skills.
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- A qualification in graphic design or a related field
- At least 5 years’ graphic design experience
- Proficient in Adobe CS6/CC, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, and motion graphics.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal communication)
DUTIES
- Oversee all creative assets, ensure quality and uniform brand messaging.
- Research new trends and design principles.
- Design, edit, and update documents.
- Motion graphic design
- Understand the purpose of each brief and interpret the message visually.
- Briefing and advising: brand style, layout, and print production.
- Conceptualise and design creative components and campaigns for various platforms and types of media.
- Create relatable, engaging graphics that speak to the brand.
- Support the team on projects with systems design elements and layout that speak to the brand.
- Gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Design graphic user interface elements, such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
- Support the divisional team (feedback on social media content, Google Analytics, and designing forms and flyers).
