We have an amazing opportunity for a Housekeeper to be based in Umhlanga, Kwa Zulu Natal. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment.

  • Experience in housekeeping

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

  • Clean and stock coffee machines.
  • Ensure that kitchens are always clean and fully stocked, especially before the morning, midday, and afternoon rush hours.
  • Ensure that Bibo machines and coffee machines are always in working order.
  • Clean bathrooms and re-stock with handwash, toilet paper, hand towels, seat sanitizer and p-mats.
  • Ensure bathrooms are always neat and tidy.
  • Sweep and mop all floors.
  • Vacuum carpets.
  • Damp wipe ceiling tiles.
  • Monitor and empty all bins as and when these are full.
  • Check the building for items requiring maintenance and report this to the building manager and Receptionist daily.
  • Check aircons are working properly on all floors.
  • Dust vending machine.
  • Clean and wipe all eating areas, door handles, hinges, glass doors, normal doors, and internal windows.
  • Wipe and dust meeting room furniture.
  • Wipe and dust all office furniture and ornaments.
  • Clean all offices.
  • Clean, prepare and stock meeting rooms with refreshments as directed by the Receptionist.
  • Dust printing stations worktops, desktops and counters.
  • Ensure deep-cleans are done bi-monthly on a Saturday.
  • Keep record of all stock usage from storeroom.

  • Showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; maintaining watchfulness over tasks and ability to identify irregularities.
  • Optimal use of time to ensure maximum output and delivery as per required timeframes
