We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead the culinary team at our luxury lodge in Polokwane. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences in a refined lodge setting. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards
- Lead, motivate, and manage the kitchen team, fostering a positive work environment
- Plan and design seasonal menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards (HACCP knowledge essential)
- Monitor stock levels, manage ordering and supplier relationships
- Control food costs, waste, and portioning to meet budgetary requirements
- Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence
- Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless guest service
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a luxury lodge or boutique hotel
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Financial acumen and experience with food costing and inventory
