Description:

Role summary

A sales representative who will be responsible for generating new business, visiting potential clients, building strong relationships, presenting product offerings, and closing sales deals to meet assigned sales targets.
Additionally, the incumbent is expected to maintain and nurture existing customer accounts and effectively promote and sell the company products


Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution

Identifying customer needs and drive opportunities to commercialization, in alignment with the organizations sales strategy.
Developing new business plans jointly with the Customer and the internal organization.

Customer Relationship Management

Developing relationships at different levels with the customer and ensure strategic alignment.
Understanding the Customers overall business and activities to drive product volume and profit margin growth.

Stock and forecast Management

Responsible for developing sales forecasts in alignment with customer demands and collaborating with the organization to ensure sufficient stock availability.

Reporting & Analysis

Track sales performance, prepare sales reports, and analyze key metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Education requirements

Tertiary Qualification – Food Technology Diploma would be preferred
3-5 years relevant industry experience


Knowledge & Skills

Food & Beverage sector experience essential – customer product and raw materials/ingredients knowledge is advantageous
Customer Relationship Management - Exceptional interpersonal skills to develop strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Excellent communication skills - Strong ability to articulate product features, build rapport with clients, and effectively present sales proposals
Negotiations skills - Confidence in negotiating price, terms, and contract details to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Sales Acumen - Proven track record of successful sales experience, including lead generation, closing deals, and exceeding sales targets.
Microsoft Office – Intermediate.
