Drive product innovation and improvement in a global travel retail technology environment, delivering cutting-edge solutions across food, beverage, duty-free, and service channels. As a Software Product Owner, you will define product vision, translate business needs into clear technical requirements, and guide agile teams to deliver impactful software solutions. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with international B2B and B2C stakeholders, and play a key part in shaping customer experience and product strategy within a flexible and dynamic hybrid work culture
Minimum Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12 or A-Levels
Relevant tertiary qualification or Informatics degree
Postgraduate degree, Honours, Business Analyst diploma, BABOK, Agile Certification, or Certified Scrum Product Owner (Preferred)
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner on software development projects
Minimum 2 years’ experience in agile software development environments
Product Owner or Business Analyst experience in the retail industry

Duties and Responsibilities:
Elicit, analyze, document, and communicate business requirements (Agile and Waterfall formats)
Define product vision, scope, acceptance, and implementation plans
Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure clear communication to development teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to deliver product features
Translate business data into actionable insights to improve systems and processes
Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback for continuous improvement
Consult with internal and external customers to understand their needs and value chains
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Challenge business assumptions to clarify intent and ensure effective solutions
Guide business analysts and UX/UI designers on product requirements
Determine project feasibility and estimate duration based on experience
Facilitate Design Thinking workshops
Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivery meets requirements
