Systems Engineer Specialist

Our client in the Banking Industry is looking for a Systems Engineer Specialist to join their team!

If you are an Enterprise Technical result-driven Engineer (Cloud, Virtualisation, Storage and Server) offering more than 10 years of extensive experience in enterprise infrastructure projects, system administration, systems architecture, hardware installation, implementation, integration, troubleshooting, training and strategic support then this role is for you!!

Duties:

• High Level and Low-Level Design of PRD & DR hardware refresh (Server and Storage Converged Solution).120 Physical host deployments running VMware ESXi 7 and 8.
• Design and deploy VMware vSphere infrastructure.
• HPE Synergy deployment and management .
• Preferred: Business Continuity Solutions deployments – DR Implementations, Test and Failover using VMware and VEEAM Backup & Replication.
• Document best practices & architectural references for developing and deploying VMware solutions (including associated management tools, e.g. monitoring, provisioning, security and compliance, and DR).
• Support critical customer escalations.
• Determine gaps in existing infrastructure and ways to mitigate these gaps.
• VMware Best Practise updates & upgrades.
• Firmware upgrades and HDD upgrades.
• Maintain technical documentation of the VMware, Hyper-V and Storage environments.
• VMware – AWS integrations.
• Veeam Backup and Replication deployment.
• DELL Hardware maintenance and manage.
• VMware ESXi & vCenter upgrades.
  

Skills & Experience:

• An experienced VMWare ESXI Host Engineer Specialist with at least 10 Years Experience.
• DELL and HP Hardware experience.

Candidate must be available to work from 15H00 to 23H00, Monday to Friday.
