Our client in the Bulk Materials Handling industry is seeking a Technical Buyer with Engineering qualification to join them in Roodepoort. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years’ experience in similar industry. Job Title : Technical Buyer (Mechanical Engineering)Geographical area : Roodepoort, Gauteng
Salary range : R 35 000.00 – R 45 000.00 CTC pm
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
- Obtaining quotes during tendering and execution of the project
- Negotiating better pricing with suppliers
- Sourcing new suppliers
- Generate procurement schedules
- Updating project engineers on delays and propose mitigation plans
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- Matric
- Relevant Engineering qualification
- 5-7 years’ experience in buying in engineering industry
