Job Title: Senior Chef

Responsibilities:

Lead the culinary team in maintaining and elevating the standard of Michelin-starred cuisine. Conceptualize, create, and execute innovative and exceptional dishes that align with the restaurant's culinary vision. Oversee the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, presentation, and timely service. Develop and refine menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends while adhering to Michelin standards. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and attention to detail. Collaborate with suppliers to source premium and sustainable ingredients of the highest quality. Maintain kitchen hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations. Continuously strive for culinary excellence, staying abreast of industry trends, techniques, and flavour profiles. Manage kitchen budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization without compromising quality.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an executive chef or head chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution. Exceptional knowledge of international cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles. Demonstrated ability to create and execute refined and inventive dishes. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performance culinary team. Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Keen attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience. Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Familiarity with Michelin Guide criteria and commitment to maintaining Michelin-star standards.
