Our client situated in Menlyn is currently seeking an Operationally inclined Finance Executive to join their finance team.Job Profile:
Leading and Overseeing the Finance Team Provide strategic leadership and direction to the finance department, ensuring effective collaboration, professional development, and high performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with departments such as sales, operations, and customer service to align financial strategies with overall business objectives and support decision-making. Cash Flow Management Monitor and optimize cash flow to maintain liquidity, ensure operational efficiency, and support business growth initiatives. Budget Development and Oversight Establish, manage, and track the organization's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and alignment with strategic goals. Risk Management and Compliance Identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal controls. Audit Management Oversee internal and external audit processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to compliance requirements. Comprehensive Tax Management Handle tax planning, compliance, and reporting while optimizing tax strategies to maximize savings and ensure adherence to legal obligations. Financial Reporting and Analysis Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support executive decision-making and long-term business planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
BCom Finance (completed) Minimum 3 - 4 years management experience CIMA/ CA(SA) (preferred) Must have knowledge and working experience of MS-Word, Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint and Accounting Systems. Strong IFRS knowledge. Excellent communication skills. JSE listed company experience (advantageous).
