Description:

To provide expert guidance and implementation support for Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) strategies and compliance. The B-BBEE Consultant will assess, plan, and execute B-BBEE initiatives in line with the Amended Codes of Good Practice, sector-specific charters, and strategic transformation goals of the business or client.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor B-BBEE strategies aligned to the company’s or client’s transformation objectives.

  • Conduct B-BBEE gap analyses and provide scorecard simulations.

  • Prepare and submit documentation for B-BBEE verification audits.

  • Advise on ownership structures, management control, skills development, enterprise & supplier development, and socio-economic development initiatives.

  • Assist with the drafting and implementation of B-BBEE policies and transformation charters.

  • Stay updated with legislative and regulatory changes regarding B-BBEE and related legislation (EEA, Skills Development Act, Companies Act).

  • Work closely with HR, Finance, Procurement, and Legal departments to gather relevant data and documentation.

  • Liaise with verification agencies, consultants, training providers, and other stakeholders.

  • Support preparation and submission of Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR).

  • Monitor project spend against B-BBEE targets.

  • Advise on the use and management of trusts, bursaries, internships, and supplier development funds for BEE scoring.

  • Conduct awareness workshops and training on B-BBEE principles for internal teams or clients.
