Description:
To provide expert guidance and implementation support for Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) strategies and compliance. The B-BBEE Consultant will assess, plan, and execute B-BBEE initiatives in line with the Amended Codes of Good Practice, sector-specific charters, and strategic transformation goals of the business or client.

Develop, implement, and monitor B-BBEE strategies aligned to the company’s or client’s transformation objectives.

Conduct B-BBEE gap analyses and provide scorecard simulations.

Prepare and submit documentation for B-BBEE verification audits.

Advise on ownership structures, management control, skills development, enterprise & supplier development, and socio-economic development initiatives.

Assist with the drafting and implementation of B-BBEE policies and transformation charters.

Stay updated with legislative and regulatory changes regarding B-BBEE and related legislation (EEA, Skills Development Act, Companies Act).

Work closely with HR, Finance, Procurement, and Legal departments to gather relevant data and documentation.

Liaise with verification agencies, consultants, training providers, and other stakeholders.

Support preparation and submission of Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR).

Monitor project spend against B-BBEE targets.

Advise on the use and management of trusts, bursaries, internships, and supplier development funds for BEE scoring.

Conduct awareness workshops and training on B-BBEE principles for internal teams or clients.
