Join Our Team as Facilities Project Manager in a Dynamic Contact Centre!

We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Project Manager to lead the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of our buildings and facilities. In this key role, you'll ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.

Success in this pivotal role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, and proven experience managing people and projects. You'll bring sharp attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the strategic insight needed to align facility initiatives with business goals.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management

  • Define project goals, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with architects and engineers during design phases.
  • Support construction/renovation planning and execution.
  • Develop schedules, track milestones, and manage progress.
  • Select and oversee vendors to ensure project success.
  • Use project management tools and financial reports for oversight.
  • Communicate updates and manage project documentation.
  • Oversee close-outs, including as-built reviews and final deliverables.

Contract Management

  • Supervise contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Enforce safety standards and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and change orders.
  • Identify and manage contract risks.
  • Lead vendor sourcing, negotiation, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain SLAs and resolve contract-related issues efficiently.

Facilities & Maintenance Management

  • Oversee daily operations and long-term facility planning.
  • Manage preventative, reactive, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Liaise and negotiate with service providers to ensure service quality.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Matric
  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Project Management, or related fields
  • 5 years of experience required
  • Experience within a contact centre preferred
  • Drivers license required
  • Proficient in budget management
  • Proficient in MS office

Certifications (Preferred):

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • OSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health)
  • CFM (Certified Facility Manager)
  • SAFMA (Certified)
