Job Description:An established construction company in Durbanville is seeking a Junior Draughtsman to join their design team. This role is ideal for a skilled draughtsperson or a young professional eager to grow in the building industry. Important: Own transport is a must, as there is no public transport in the area.Working hours: Mon–Thurs 07:00–17:30, Fri 07:00–15:00 Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed construction and layout drawings (beams, slabs, stairs)
- Liaise with clients and engineers for approvals and design clarifications
- Compile bending schedules and assist with steel ordering
- Use FloorCAD and AutoCAD to capture and verify designs
- Track production and installation timelines, flagging delays early
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
- 5 years' experience preferred, but training offered to promising juniors
- Strong communication, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Must have own reliable transport
- Provident fund
- Builder’s holiday in December
