Reservations Manager - CBD Cape TownOur client based in Cape Town CBD is on a recruitment drive for a dynamic, driven Reservations Manager to join their team.Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:Proficient in understanding use of Yield-Mangement and Occupancy forecasting techniquesproficient in the application of up-sell and cross-sell strategiesproficient in the creation and analysis of Market studiesProficient in property specific reservations and revenue software to ensure that Occupancy and rate are maximisedProficient in the use of Rate-building software and methodsProficient in the application of financial good practiceProficient in negotiating cost of distributionProficient in the management of the various booking channelsConversant with specialist terminology including F&B Services, FOH, Culinary, housekeeping, wardrobe, maintenance, security, operational financeQualifications:Hospitality DiplomaFluent in English - written and verbal5 years experience in overseeing the hospitality, reservations operations of a luxury 5* lodgeMS Office Suite combined with various hotel booking systemsvarious booking portals such as Booking.com, SafariNow - etc. Abilities :- Anticipate future circumstances, conditions and requests and use these scenarios to plan for the future
