Cape Town: My client, a leading specialist in environmental, green building, and social intelligence consulting, based in the Southern Suburbs is seeking an experienced Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAPASA Registered) to join their team. Purpose of the role: To manage complex Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of private sector EIA experience in South Africa, with expertise in large-scale projects, preferably in renewable energy. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and quality control skills are essential, along with a commitment to sustainable development and environmental responsibility across Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

- Overseeing ES Team Project Portfolio
- Managing project timelines, quality control, deliverables, and budgets
- Ensuring client satisfaction and upholding brand standards
- Preparing fee proposals, tenders, and scopes of work
- Tracking costs and ensuring company registration on strategic tender databases
- Leading Environmental Services Team, Bird & Bat Monitoring, and SDOD Team
- Ensuring team registration with SACNASP and EAPASA
- Driving operational efficiencies and process improvements
- Expanding ecological assessment and monitoring services
- Developing new product offerings within Environmental Services
- Strengthening client relations and strategic partnerships
- Developing and implementing environmental training programs
- Representing the company at industry forums (IAIA, etc.)
- Enhancing company brand presence and visibility
- Assisting with project recruitment and development
- Providing logistical and operational support across company functions

Educational:
Degree: [Relevant Environmental Science/Management Qualification]
Professional Memberships: EAPASA, SACNASP is preferred
