Cape Town: My client, a leading distributor specializing in premium coffee and bespoke coffee solutions, is seeking an experienced a Technician (small domestic appliances) to join their Cape Town team. Purpose of the Role: Responsible for the maintenance, operation, and servicing of coffee machines, ensuring optimal performance through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance while providing technical support to clients to uphold high service standards.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of coffee machines
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure minimal downtime
- Performing preventive maintenance to enhance machine longevity
- Installing and setting up new coffee equipment as required
- Providing technical support and training to clients on machine operation
- Technical certification in equipment maintenance or a related field
- Experience in machine operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a customer service mindset
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans
- Good level of computer literacy
- Be in possession of a valid driver’s license
Note that consideration will only be given to applicants who have experience in maintenance and repair of equipment in a similar role and who are currently resident Cape Town.
