Junior Farm Manager

Description:

Hydroponic and open land farm outside East London in the Eastern Cape is wanting to employ an energetic and motivated individual as a Junior Farm Manager.

A degree or diploma in agriculture would be advantageous.

Requirements:

• Bookkeeping
• Agriculture: 3 to 4 years
• Truck Driver: 3 to 4 years

• • • • Ability to manage staff/work performance doing various tasks ( up to 50 people in season)
      • Harvesting – Manage performance of harvesting team/QC fruit and communicate with packhouse
      • Scouting of crops
      • Managing Spray team and execution of application
      • Code 10
      • Speak English and Xhosa
      • Work history and references

8-15k Depending on experience
