Marketing Manager – Wine Industry Focus | Cape Town | Full Time

CME Recruitment is partnering with a leading wine portfolio company in search of an experienced Marketing Manager to elevate their brand presence, craft compelling campaigns, and drive consumer engagement. About the Role:
As the Marketing Manager, you’ll lead the charge in shaping and executing integrated marketing strategies that promote our wine brands locally and internationally. You'll blend creativity with commercial acumen, bringing brand stories to life while supporting sales growth and consumer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement impactful marketing strategies to promote wine products and brands.

  • Plan and execute 360° campaigns across digital, social, email, events, and traditional media.

  • Align closely with sales and international teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and performance across key markets.

  • Be a hands-on brand custodian—own profitability insights and work on improvements.

  • Manage content creation: brochures, ads, websites, and social media.

  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to guide strategies.

  • Build relationships with media, influencers, and partners.

  • Organize tastings, trade shows, and events that bring the brand to life.

  • Monitor campaign performance, offer insights, and optimize ROI.

  • Oversee marketing budget and resource allocation effectively.

  • Keep a finger on the pulse of wine and marketing trends.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven marketing experience— preferably in the wine or beverage industry .

  • Digital marketing know-how, with strong social media and content creation skills.

  • A team player with top-notch communication and creative thinking abilities.

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Project management skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

  • A genuine passion for wine and deep industry knowledge.
