*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Panel Wireman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and wiring electrical panels according to engineering specifications and safety standards.
*Responsibilities:*
1. Read and interpret engineering drawings, and schematics to understand wiring requirements.
2. Measure, cut, and strip wires to appropriate lengths, ensuring accuracy and precision.
3. Install and mount electrical components, such as circuit breakers, switches, and relays, onto panels.
4. Connect wires and components using various methods, including soldering, crimping, and terminal blocks.
5. Test and troubleshoot panels to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
6. Inspect panels for defects, damage, or irregularities, and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
7. Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
*Requirements:*
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training in electrical wiring is preferred.
2. Proven experience as an electrical automation panel wireman or similar role, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and schematics.
4. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
5. Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, with a commitment to compliance and safety.
6. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Certification as an electrician or electrical technician.
- Previous experience working in electrical automation.
