Description:

  • General Duties
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company IT policies.
  • Collaborate with property managers and the Team Lead to deliver solutions.
  • Keep project and service documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Complete daily checklists and submit reports to the IT Team Lead.
  • Monitor devices and network connectivity across multiple sites.
  • Ensure all stock, tools, and equipment are ready and in good working condition.
  • Maintain safety and compliance standards.
  • Technical Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues and optimise signal performance.
  • Resolve basic network problems (e.g., IP conflicts, firewall/router configurations).
  • Install, configure, and maintain VoIP systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and electric fencing.
  • Set up and manage access points, switches, and network infrastructure.
  • Perform firmware upgrades ,equipment cleaning, inspection and documentation.
  • Provide end-user support and training on IT and security systems.
  • Inspect and report on site equipment and potential future issues.
  • Update tickets with completed work logs and resolution notes.
  • Be available for overtime, weekends, or emergency call-outs as required.
  • Comfortable working at heights or in tight installation spaces.

  • Technical training or certification in IT, networking, or electronics
  • Valid South African driver’s license.
