Description:
FibreUP (PTY)Ltd requires the services of Assistant Fibre Optic Technicians x 1 (Goodwood area).
The main responsibilities of this job are:
Assist Fibre Optic Technician to install fibre cable, duct and other fibre related products. Splice and prepare fibre for splicing. Additionally, you will assist with testing and fault-finding.
The ideal candidate should have
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level certificate
Certified Fibre Optic Technician qualification advantageous
Experience in Fibre Optics and/or telecommunications is advantageous
Computer literacy
Must currently be based in Goodwood.

Proven technical aptitude, Detail and Results Orientated, Ability to work and interact well with others, Strong customer service commitment.
