Description:

Nurture Health is searching for a Stock Controller for our physical-rehabilitation hospital in Worcester, Western Cape. Nurture Health provides medical care, and acute and sub-acute rehabilitation treatment for people with a wide range of disabilities caused by disease or injuries. These include spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, neurological disorders, orthopaedic conditions, and other debilitating conditions and illnesses. Our organisation helps people who have become physically or cognitively impaired with the means to lead meaningful lives, regardless of any disability they may have acquired or circumstances they are returning to.

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

  • Grade 12
  • Qualification or proof of active study towards an Office Administration qualification or Pharmacy Assistant qualification
  • Must be computer literate and able to work with healthcare systems
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Skilled with Microsoft Excel (SUM / AVERAGE / MIN / MAX / Sorting data etc.)
  • Experience in a healthcare / Doctor’s practice with claims submissions, billing codes, and general administrative duties to the group practice/Doctor will be advantageous
  • Displays a proven record of working across administration roles
  • Capture script details accurately and verify patient’s details on the system
  • Ensure accurate picking / packing / labelling and checking of medication and consumables
  • Keep abreast of changes in medical aid procedures and requirements for claims and dispensing
  • Understand the impact of accurate use of nappi codes when billing stock
  • Work closely with the nursing and case management teams
  • Report on low - / out of stock levels and stock errors and manage them effectively
  • Complete weekly stock cycle counts, and quarterly full stock takes
  • Attention to detail and comfortable with numerical information

Minimum Salary: R11 589.35 Cost to Company (including benefits)
