Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance Associate to join our team in Parkmore, Sandton. In this role, you will support a UK-based recruitment business by ensuring all candidates meet necessary compliance and legal standards before placement. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain international exposure and experience in a fast-paced, dynamic recruitment environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full compliance checks on candidates before they are submitted or placed with clients.

  • Verify Right to Work documents, DBS checks, qualifications, and references.

  • Maintain and update candidate compliance records accurately and in a timely manner using internal systems.

  • Liaise with consultants, candidates, and third-party organisations to gather and confirm all required documentation.

  • Keep up to date with UK legislation and compliance requirements related to recruitment and employment.

  • Assist with audits and ensure data integrity in line with GDPR and internal policies.

  • Support the wider UK compliance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in compliance, administration, or recruitment is advantageous.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with online systems and databases.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to UK compliance processes and standards.
