Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance Associate to join our team in Parkmore, Sandton. In this role, you will support a UK-based recruitment business by ensuring all candidates meet necessary compliance and legal standards before placement. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct full compliance checks on candidates before they are submitted or placed with clients.

Verify Right to Work documents, DBS checks, qualifications, and references.

Maintain and update candidate compliance records accurately and in a timely manner using internal systems.

Liaise with consultants, candidates, and third-party organisations to gather and confirm all required documentation.

Keep up to date with UK legislation and compliance requirements related to recruitment and employment.

Assist with audits and ensure data integrity in line with GDPR and internal policies.

Support the wider UK compliance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
Requirements:

Previous experience in compliance, administration, or recruitment is advantageous.

Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with online systems and databases.

Willingness to learn and adapt to UK compliance processes and standards.
