Events Coordinator – Grimaldis Venue @ Cotswold Downs Golf Estate (Hillcrest, Durban)
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-driven, and highly professional Events Coordinator to join the Grimaldis team
This is a hands-on role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for creating seamless, standout events. You’ll take full ownership of the events journey—from sourcing and securing bookings to planning, invoicing, and managing the event on the day.

Key Responsibilities
• Proactively source and secure new event bookings (corporate, private, and estate-driven)
• Manage all event enquiries, client meetings, and site visits
• Create and distribute detailed function sheets for internal departments
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, chefs, and operations teams
• Handle quotations, deposits, invoicing, and payment tracking
• Oversee full execution of events from setup to breakdown
• Maintain a high standard of service and professionalism at every stage

Requirements
• Minimum 3 years' experience in hospitality/events coordination
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects
• Available to work weekends and evenings as required
• Familiarity with event software/invoicing systems is a bonus
• Presentable, calm under pressure, and service-oriented
