About the Role:

We are a dynamic and fast-growing risk management company seeking a highly organised, self-motivated Booking Clerk & Operations Assistant to join our remote team. This role requires a meticulous individual with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients.

This multifaceted role involves coordinating bookings for on-site risk surveys, assisting with client communication, supporting the Chief Operations Manager in administrative and marketing duties and providing aftercare support to clients by connecting them with appropriate service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate risk survey appointments with clients across South Africa.

  • Liaise professionally with clients, brokers, and internal surveyors.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of bookings and ensure all relevant parties are informed.

  • Assist the Chief Operations Manager with:

- Marketing support (including social media scheduling, content briefs, and campaign coordination)

- Client communication and feedback follow-ups

- Provide aftercare assistance to clients by referring them to trusted service providers as requested.

Troubleshoot booking or scheduling conflicts and resolve client concerns where possible.

  • Assist the Chief Operations Manager with:

  • Customer Facing Roles: 2 to 3 years
  • Administartive Skills: 2 to 3 years

Minimum Requirements:

Proven administrative or customer-facing experience (minimum 2 years).

Excellent communication skills —both written and verbal.

Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative.

Comfortable working remotely without supervision.

Tech-savvy with proficiency in email, online forms, spreadsheets, and task tracking tools (e.g. Trello, Google Workspace).

Professional and reliable home office setup, including:

- A dedicated and quiet workspace

- A reliable computer/laptop

- A smartphone

- Stable internet connection

- Backup power solution (inverter/generator) for load shedding

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the insurance or risk management industry is advantageous .

Experience with event logistics, marketing, or digital client engagement is a plus.

Familiarity with online appointment systems or CRM platforms.
