Minimum requirements for the role:
Must have a relevant tertiary qualification Minimum 3 yearsâ?? experience in an internal sales or customer service role Previous experience in the chemical distribution or related industry is advantageous Strong understanding of sales processes, order management, and CRM systems Must be computer literate in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook) and ERP systems Excellent communication and negotiation skills
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing inbound and outbound sales calls, emails, and customer inquiries. Processing customer orders and ensuring timely delivery. Maintaining and updating customer records in the CRM system. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Providing product information, pricing, and quotations to customers. Liaising with external sales representatives to ensure seamless customer service. Monitoring stock levels and coordinating with procurement to meet demand. Assisting in the preparation of sales reports and forecasts. Handling customer complaints and resolving issues promptly. Collaborating with internal teams, including finance and logistics, to ensure smooth sales operations.
