An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Franchise Development Manager to lead and drive an ambitious growth strategy for one of the most iconic quick-service restaurant brands on the continent. This Johannesburg-based role is your chance to make a real impact by delivering high-volume expansion plans across multiple markets in Africa.
Our client is seeking a visionary leader with a proven track record in commercial development, who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You will be responsible for managing the full franchise development cycle from strategy and site acquisition to execution and delivery overseeing approximately 100 new store projects annually.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the annual franchise new unit, relocation, and remodel pipeline Designing and implementing Africa-wide franchise development strategies Driving site identification and acquisition in collaboration with key stakeholders Enhancing development infrastructure and evolving the business model for scalable successRequirements:
A Bachelors degree (Engineering, Property, or Built Environment preferred); MBA advantageous 57 years commercial experience in franchise development, ideally within QSR or similar sectors Deep project management expertise and the ability to influence cross-functional teams Strong stakeholder management skills, from franchisees and developers to investment committees EE Disclaimer:
