The Risk Manager plays a key role in developing and implementing risk management strategies across the VKB Group. This role ensures the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial and operational risks, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and the cultivation of a risk-aware culture within the organisation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Law, or a related field
- Relevant qualifications in risk management or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial risk management across diverse industries (agriculture, insurance, corporate, finance)
- At least 3 years in a senior managerial or leadership role
- Proven experience with compliance, governance, and risk frameworks
- Proficient in both Afrikaans and English
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willingness to travel
