Description:
The SHE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security functions within the company. The role ensures compliance with national legislation, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements while minimizing risks and promoting a strong SHE culture. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain SHE and Security Management Systems.
- Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments.
- Ensure legal compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and security laws.
- Implement and monitor SHE and security objectives and targets.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Liaise with internal departments, external service providers, and government agencies.
- Manage SHE/Security budgets and reporting.
- Oversee SHE training, awareness programs, and audits.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:

- Minimum: SAMTRAC / BTech Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Management
- SAATCA Internal Auditor Certification preferred
- At least 5 years in an industrial environment with SHE and security management
- Knowledge of SHE legal requirements and compliance
- Strong auditing, risk assessment, and incident investigation skills
- Budget management and reporting abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Driver’s license (Code 8)
- Registration with a professional safety body (Saiosh preferred)
