Our client, a progressive and fast paced chemical supply and distribution company, seeks to employ a Depot/Operations Supervisor to join this progressive and expanding professional team. Please note this is NOT a senior Management role but rather a role geared toward a candidate who has experience in managing a fast paced but small distribution depot and team KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:- You will have Matric, coupled with 5+ years experience in supervising operations of FMCG or Hazardous Chemical products (a diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations is advantageous)
- You will have proven experience in staff supervision, operations coordination, customer service, and providing receiving and distribution supervision.
- You will have a solid track record in distribution administration, stock movement and planning according to customer orders.
- You will have solid communication skills, be a expert problem solver and planner, as well as being a motivating leader.
- Software proficiency in Excel and Sage
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
