Site Manager - Mossel BayOur client in the construction industry based in Mossel Bay is on a recruitment drive for a site / project manager. The ideal candidate MUST be hands on and have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:Assist with project scheduling of new / renovation and maintenance projectsMain focus would be the maintenance projects with assistance to new & renovation buildsFull management of staff - training, mentoring and development, scheduling of staff for the various sites, dealing with staff issues / problems and managing disciplinary functions (verbal / written warnings)Taking staff out to site and allocating duties and targets / objectives for the dayEnsure that all products / materials required for site are available when staff are dropped off and ensure that they have the necessary products / materials and tools to ensure smooth production for the daySourcing of materials, obtaining quotes and negotiating with suppliers for best priceEnsure that all quotes are handed over the administration department for procurementCollection of any urgent materials / products that may be requiredRotate between the various projects to ensure that the staff are on target for scope of workLiaising with owners / HOA / Tenants - maintaining excellent relationshipsAssist with quotations for any additional work added to projectsCollection of staff end of day and checking materials and work completedMaintain continuous supervision throughout the day to ensure that all work is up to standard to best present the companyMaintain stock in the yard through daily cycle counts and general stock countsCheck all stock used on site to ensure profitability of the organization.Manage all Occupational health and Safety requirements on sitesAssisting with new call outs - attending site inspections and taking notes / measurements of requirementsDrawing up of quotations for submission on final authorization of the o...
