Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Finance Accounting Clerk to join their team in Umgeni Business Park, Durban A detail-oriented and experienced Creditors Clerk / Finance Clerk to join a dynamic finance team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full creditors function and general financial administration, including exposure to financial statement preparation. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a flat fee salary structure and a provident fund benefit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full creditors function, including invoice processing, statement reconciliation, and preparation of payment batches.
- Perform daily financial administrative duties.
- Assist in drafting and compiling financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording and filing of financial transactions.
- Perform supplier account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Support ad-hoc finance-related tasks as directed by management.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate timely payment processing
Requirements
Education
- Minimum: Matric (Grade 12)
- Preferred: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years ’ experience in a similar role within finance or creditors
Skills & Attributes
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
- Proficient with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Professional, reliable, and self-driven
