Job Description:
Perform feasibility studies on SIB projects in the mining industry. Perform business cases and develop capital votes with implementation plans.
Job Duties:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of project studies within the mining industry
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with external consultants and contractors as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in project management within the mining industry
Required Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- 8 -10 years of experience in project management within the mining industry on study projects
- Strong understanding of mining operations, processes, and regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Strong knowledge of mining operations and processes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
