Description:
Support the business as a collaborative Finance partner to ensure problems are resolved and financial control is effectively maintained and well managed.
Ensure accurate management accounts with trial balance in order and overall effective financial control.
Drive an overall effective trouble shooting approach ensuring accurate identification of problems and actions deployed to resolve timeously.
Ensure a comprehensive analysis of data is completed for strategic decision making.
Ensure the relevant systems and accounts are correctly set up and deployed on time.
Responsible for accurate reporting delivered on time to relevant parties.
Drive the submission of weekly taxes paid to Gambling Board on time.
Support the audit process and drive any mitigating actions with business.
Ensure successful completion and adoption of the CODA project; and ongoing optimisation.
Mange the finance team effectively ensuring coaching and support is provided, and KPIs are delivered.
Experience and Skills
Tertiary Qualification in Finance
Possess a strong understanding of Finance, commercial and business challenges
Have excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to build key relationships within the business.
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
Growth-focused, goal-oriented individual.
Able and willing to lead from the front, getting "hands-on" as required.
Excellent numeric and communication skills.
