Bookkeeper - GeorgeOur client in the manufacturing industry is on a recruitment drive for a bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate must have excellent administration and client relationship skillsDuties and responsibilities include but not limited to:Financial Record Maintenance - keep accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payments and receiptsBank reconciliation - comparing bank statements with company records to identify and resolve discrepanciesAccounts payable and receivable - managing invoices, payments, and collections to ensure smooth cash flowPayroll Administration - calculating wages, processing payments and managing payroll taxesFinancial reporting - preparing of balancee sheets, income statements and cash flow statementsBudgeting and forecasting - assisting in financial planning using historical dataCompliance - ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations, including VAT returns and e-filingSupport to management - providing financial, income statements, and cash flow statementsBudgeting and forecasting - assisting in financial planning using historical dataCompliance - ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations, including VAT returns ande-filingSupport to Management - providing financial insights and responding to inquiriesCreditors - agee analysis Qualifications :- Matric coupled with a financial / accounting diploma
- 3-5 years in a similar role
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Computer literate - MS Office Suite / Quickbooks
- Experience in Manufacturing - advantageous
