Our client is looking for a Key Accounts Specialist to join their team in Blackheath, Cape Town . This role is focused on managing and maintaining key client accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and coordinating administrative processes between clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and highly customer-centric, with a hands-on approach to account support rather than sales or upselling. Own transport is essential, as occasional travel to client premises is required.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients

Understand client needs and anticipate future requirements

Manage account meetings and compile monthly KPI packs
-
Resolve client issues and complaints professionally and efficiently
-
Produce cost estimates and identify areas for account improvements
-
Coordinate communication between internal teams and clients
-
Assist in building and maintaining client account plans
-
Monitor and manage service inboxes and client ticketing systems
-
Support production planning by liaising with warehouse and operations teams
-
Compile kits and adjust production schedules when necessary

Analyze client data to support relationship management
-
Report on account progress, goals, and deliverables
Requirements:

Previous experience in a customer-focused, administrative key account support role is essential

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

High attention to detail and organizational ability

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks

Ability to work well across teams and build rapport with clients

Valid driver’s license and own transport
