CM Practitioner
Job Purpose
To ensure that Supply Chain Management procedures and controls are properly implemented and maintained
Qualifications
Three (3) year tertiary qualification in SCM, Accounting, Quantity Surveying or related field
Main responsibilities / Accountabilities
Project Contract Registers, Commitment Registers, Administer VAT authenticity, Administer Irregular Expenditure on all new and old service provider appointments, Records Maintenance, Management of supplier relations, Quality control, Audit and Audit Readiness, Purchase order generation, Policy Development, Financial Reporting
Critical Core Competencies
· Understanding of infrastructure delivery policies and procedures
· Understanding of Accounting Policies
· Accounting Procedures
· Understanding of PFMA and its regulations
· Understanding of the Framework For Infrastructure Delivery and Procurement Management (FIDPM)
· Understanding of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework
· Understanding of the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Framework Act (BBBEE)
· Understanding of Preferential Procurement Policy Act and its Regulations (PPPFA)
· Understanding of the Tax Legislation and other related legislation Understanding of National Treasury Regulations and Procedures on Supply chain management
